Delivery & Logistics Manager
We’re a venture-backed food tech startup based in Concord, CA. And we're on a mission to help people feel their absolute best by making clean eating fun and easy.
We’re looking for a Delivery & Logistics Manager to reduce our delivery error rates, open up new delivery regions and windows, and build and train an LA Logistics team from scratch.
This role will be based in Concord, CA, and will report directly to the CEO.

Able to work Sunday through Wednesday each week, with Thursdays and Fridays off (and able to shift your schedule flexibly based on the business' needs)
A bachelor's degree
At least 3 years of delivery or logistics management experience, ideally with perishable food
A passion for providing world-class customer service
Impeccable grammar and written communication skills, since this role often involves interfacing directly with our customers
Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, charts, and pivot tables
Excited to interact with customers directly in order to resolve delivery issues and improve delivery success rates
Able to hire, train, motivate, manage and retain A players
A perfectionist with strong attention to detail
Willing to do whatever it takes to ensure our clients get the right meals at the right time

The OUTCOMES EXPECTED OF YOU:
Reduce our monthly delivery error rate by 50% by the end of 2017
Reduce our overall cost per delivery by 10% by the end of 2017
Continuously open up new delivery windows and regions
Communicate weekly with management about how the logistics team is doing
Hire and train our LA-based logistics team, including relocating to LA temporarily for 1-3 months
