Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Growth Team

Central to this team is an experienced Full-Stack Engineer who has experience building split-testing infrastructure and is excited about enabling this team to constantly test, tweak, and optimize our customer experience. This role will be based in Los Angeles, CA, but we’re willing to talk to you if you’re a total badass and extremely passionate about our mission.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years experience architecting large-scale web and mobile applications

  • Experience building split testing infrastructure enabling quick building and tearing down of tests along with accurate and complete analytics  

  • Expertise in our tech stack: ReactJS & Ruby on Rails

  • A genuine interest in and proven track record of partnering with design, backend engineers and product owners to efficiently solve user problems and deliver the best user experience

  • A solid understanding of software engineering best practices (code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, etc) and ability to apply them in web development

  • Experience with documentation, unit and integration testing

  • Familiarity with Sketch / InVision / UI design

  • The ability to debug issues in a full-stack environment

  • The ability to build and maintain a complex, end-user-facing web and mobile applications

  • Good work ethic - you’re well-organized, disciplined, and self-motivated

  • Flexible, well-organized and able to manage a high-volume workload and numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressures

You will:

  • Hit your deadlines 100% of the time

  • Work quickly, properly prioritize tasks, and know when you should be perfectionist vs. not in order to ensure you always hit your deadlines, no matter how tight they may be (ie you will not allow tech to be the bottleneck of the team)

  • Build and test new web and mobile applications to completely redesign and optimize major customer touchpoints

  • Develop new feature sets to expand the existing user experience

  • Plan, design, and build compelling user experiences that excite and delight our consumers

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to solve problems deliver the best experience for our customers
